CSI Oklahoma: $6 Million Deal Will Finance 'Full-Service' Forensics Lab

The article reports that proceeds of the scheduled sale of Oklahoma's state facilities revenue bonds will be used to finance the completion and equipment of a sophisticated crime laboratory facility for the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. The bonds are scheduled for sale on July 18, 2006 by the Oklahoma Capitol Improvement Authority. The bureau's facility is under construction in Edmond, which is adjacent to the campus of the University of Central Oklahoma which offers undergraduate and master's degrees in forensic science.
