University of Massachusetts to Begin Routine Review of FA Candidates

The article reports that the University of Massachusetts Building Authority will review candidates for its independent financial advisory position, while its executive director, David MacKenzie also acts as interim chancellor of the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. Lamont Financial Service Co. will serve as the authority's financial adviser. Mackenzie, university chief financial officer Steven Dansby, and lawyer Frances Gershwin will select one candidate from the pool of applicants about a month after the August 2006 deadline.
