ABSTRACT
The article focuses on ten ideal Wildlife Management Areas (WMA) or public hunting areas utilized by deer hunters in the U.S. Bowhunters often have more opportunities on public lands since many states restrict gun hunts to weekends or quota hunts with limited permits. Included in the WMA list are Barbour WMA in southeast Alabama, Catoosa WMA in east central Tennessee and Green Swamp WMA in west central Florida.
