ABSTRACT
The article reports that U.S. baseball has signed a deal that requires Fox Network and TBS to relinquish the opening round of the playoffs and two League Championship Series (LCS). The deal will provide baseball owners with $2.5 billion worth of business while allowing Fox to give way to more episodes of its entertainment programs. The only question that remains is what cable company will get the other half of the LCS round.
