Cozad Asset Management Sees Greener Pastures in Farmland Assets

Lindorff, Dave
July 2006
Investment Management Weekly;7/10/2006, Vol. 19 Issue 27, p7
The article focuses on the interest of Cozad Asset Management in investing in farmland assets. Stuart Meacham, COO of Cozad Asset Management, said Cozad got into the sector with Westchester Group back in 1990 because they made some private placements in agriculture then. Cozad/Westchester Agricultural Asset Management earns significant profit by selling a lot of properties because most of the farms the joint venture bought have been in the path of rapid urbanization, particularly in the Midwest and California.
