ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Miami University Middletown has collaborated with the Gatlin Education Services to offer online and open enrollment programs projected to provide the skills necessary to acquire professional-level positions for many in-demand occupation. Health-care, business, construction, Internet, design and technical are among the program areas being offered. Each program is designed by professionals from each respective fields and has its own set of lessons and tests, grades are a combination of computer-graded tests and the instructor or mentor's evaluation of the student's work.
