ABSTRACT
The article reports that Michael Grade, chairman of Great Britain-based public broadcasting firm British Broadcasting Corp., wants more belt-tightening and cost-cutting and fired a "warning shot" at the performance of flagship Web BBC1. In his announcement of the annual report and accounts for 2005-06, Grade said that although cost savings of 105 million British pounds had been met, the pressure for cuts is still on.
