ABSTRACT
The article reports on the 10% growth of the Spanish box office for the first half of 2006. The rising ticket prices helped boost the box office. The most successful films include "The Da Vinci Code," "Ice Age: The Meltdown" and "Memoirs of a Geisha." Nielsen EDI estimates that the box office recovery in Spain could continue.
