ABSTRACT
Information about the recently concluded symposium on "Sign Post to a New Space" held on November 2005 at Harrogate, England is presented. An overview of the textile collecting, including the perspectives of maker as well as preservers. To the attendees, the symposium fulfilled the promise of its title by providing an orientation to people, places, and ideas significant to textiles in Great Britain.
