ABSTRACT
The article reports that sound engineer Mark Linett brought his Your Place or Mine mobile rig to sound studio, Center Staging, in Burbank, California, to record the band, The New Cars, in front of an invite-only audience. The tracks were used for the band's album "It's Alive." The release features performances of many of the old Cars' new-wave hits.
