ABSTRACT
The article reports on the higher ratings of the Entertainment and Sports Programming Network (ESPN) for its baseball games coverage in the U.S. The television network gained 21 percent viewers' share despite of the decreasing number of games they cover. According to ESPN vice president for programming Mike Ryan, their new contract with baseball allows the network to increase the number of times they can cover the games of high-rated teams to draw more audiences.
