ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the proposed rule regarding competitive bidding implementation issues in the U.S. The author explains the proposed rule and the bill pending in the House of Representatives that would require Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to rationalize many of the implementation issues. She suggests that the first step in evaluating suppliers and bids is for CMS to determine the compliance of all requirements by suppliers.
