ABSTRACT
The article reports on the signing of Governor Matt Blunt to the state's $21 billion fiscal 2007 budget into law in Missouri. The budget marks an 8.6 percent increase in spending over the fiscal 2006 budget which includes a $128 million increase in aid and $2.6 billion for road construction. Revenue for fiscal 2006 is expected to grow by 4.9 percent over a year earlier.
