ABSTRACT
The article presents news briefs related to advertising. Hugh Duthie was recently appointed as JWT's new planning director. The move is partly attributable to Alison Burns, JWT's chief executive, being so familiar with the New York market, having only moved to London, England in 2006 from that city. ITV Corp. has been the focus of much unwanted publicity recently, mainly because of an advertisement revenue decline of 4.6 percent for the first six months of 2006. According to observers the decline is due to worsen.
