ABSTRACT
The article presents information on several recent advertisements. The advertisement titled "Powerball," was created by Borders Perrin Norrander for Oregon Lottery. It encourages people to enter the lottery despite the huge odds against winning. The advertisement titled "Sumatra Extra Bold," was created by DDB Inc. Through this advertisement the Turkish coffee brand, Café Del Mondo, has launched a national campaign to announce the arrival of a new extra-strong product. The advertisement titled "Hairy women," was created by JWT Paris for Mercure International of Monaco. The press campaign to promote France's City Sport chain of sportswear stores takes an irreverent look at the consequences of athletes using steroids.
