MediaVest takes on £5m GHD business

Starcom has been appointed to handle media planning and buying in Europe, the U.S., Africa and Australasia. Starcom's parent company, Publicis Groupe SA, also has a minority stake in MediaVest Manchester. GHD, which stands for Good Hair Day and sells hair products from styling irons to shampoo, is preparing to promote the launch of its Thermodynamics range across television, press and cinema.
