ABSTRACT
The article reports on the establishment of a Technical Center of German chemical company WACKER in Melbourne, Victoria. The focus of the facility is formulation development and realization of customer requirements for the local construction industry. Its functions will include offering practical advice on problems relating to construction chemicals. The decision to set up the technical center reflects growth in demand for building materials and additives in the Asia-Pacific region.
