ABSTRACT
The article reports on the financial performance of chemical companies in India. Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd. posted an increase in net profits for the fourth quarter of the period 2005-2006. Fertilisers and Chemicals, Travancore Ltd. owns assets in the form of infrastructure facilities that have not been utilized and which could enhance its revenue. Oil bonds have been instrumental to the performance of Hindustan Petroleum Corp. Ltd. for the quarter ended March 31, 2006.
