ABSTRACT
The article reports on high school students from racial minorities and slum areas being encouraged by some college students from Amherst College to plan to attend college. The students of Amherst college are taking part in an experiment called "Project Search." The undergraduates visit the guidance counselors and high school students in their area to persuade the students to attend college. They have already visited several places like Portland, Richmond, St. Louis, and New York City. Also, a quote from Reinhold Niebuhr was presented towards the end of the article.
