ABSTRACT
The article reports that Peter Stringham, HSBC's global marketing chief, has been appointed president of the International Advertising Association's Great Britain Chapter. The Canadian-born Stringham will take the reins from the outgoing president, Adrian Vickers, a founding partner of Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, on June 20, 2006. The presidency for the global advertising collective rotates between the three main industry sectors its serves--advertisers, media owners and creative or media agencies.
