ABSTRACT
The article reports that tax-exempt bond issuance in the U.S. is expected to end weakly as major players pause to celebrate the 2006 Independence Day. One of the sizable competitive deals scheduled to take place will arrive in the Texas market. Regular trading activity is expected to resume the following week when the post-holiday market will offer a better measure of demand for new deals.
