European stoppages cause tightened phenol

This article report on the impact of tightened supplies in the phenol market in Europe on Ineos Phenol's plants in Antwerp, Belgium and Gladbeck, Germany in June 2006. Production at the Gladbeck unit was reduced after a leakage in an acetone column and output stopped completely at the Antwerp plant after a steam outage.
