ABSTRACT
The article considers the decision of Conseil European des Federations de I'Industrie Chimique (CEFIC) to reduce its governing board and become more company-focused. The decision, which calls for direct company representatives on its board, reflects a decisive step to improve matters. CEFIC will, in future, have two main wings, a core advocacy group focused on Brussels, and which is expected to grow in size.
