ABSTRACT
The article reports on the acquisition of Adams Respiratory Therapeutics of the Delsym cough suppressant brand from biopharmaceutical company UCB in Chester, New Jersey. The move will increase the market share of Adams in pediatric cough and cold aisles, and will secure the company's patented delivery system. The acquisition would also gain access on another drug delivery technology and create brand awareness and enhance market penetration.
