The article provides details of a 1999 promotional tour for the Yellow Pages telephone book, being sponsored by the Yellow Pages Advertising Council. To help build awareness of its new positioning as an idea source, the Yellow Pages teamed up with Literacy Volunteers of America for a cause-related mobile marketing program. The tour began June 15, 1999 in Boston, Massachusetts with an appearance by James Earl Jones and concludes August 27, 1999 in Denver, Colorado.
