ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plan of the Salt River Project Agricultural Improvement and Power District to finance the expansion of the Arizona utility's electrical distribution system. The expansion project will be financed from the proceeds of the negotiated sale of $ 296 million of electric system revenue bonds. The public utility serves as a service area in Maricopa, Gila and Pinal counties. The revenue bonds of Salt River were upgraded to Aa1 by the Moody's Investors Service Inc.
