ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Senate was scheduled to take up and pass a proposed budget for fiscal 2007 in Puerto Rico. Senate President Kenneth McClintock is also scheduled to bring a series of amendments to the proposed spending plan passed by the house. It includes $248 million in spending cuts from the budget proposed by Governor Anibal Acevedo Vila.
