ABSTRACT
The article reports on the overall rating generated by the television premiere of the motion picture "Broken Trail" on AMC. The opening installment of the two-part film starring Robert Duvall and Thomas Haden Church attracted a total of 9.9 million viewers. It made AMC the most-watched network on television from 8:00 to 9:45 P.M. The week June 18-25, 2006 was supported by two motion performances on cable, with Lifetime drawing 5.1 million for its original Monday picture "A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo Story."
