ABSTRACT
The article reports on the move of Unipetrol's disgruntled minority shareholders to demand the company justify its decision to sell its Kauchuk styrenics unit to a lower bid in June 2005. The firm's Association of Minority Shareholders said that it would ask management to explain the decision at the company's annual general meeting on 22 June 2006. Martin Benes, spokesman for the minority shareholders group, said that Unipetrol was duty-bound to dearly explain the rejection of higher bids.
