ABSTRACT
The article reports that the European Commission has approved Linde's purchase of BOC, subject to the disposals of Linde's industrial gases business in Great Britain and the industrial and speciality gases activities of BOC in Poland. Linde will also have to end its contracts with ethylene oxide customers in Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland. The Commission said that approval was subject to the sale of several helium wholesale supply contracts operated by Linde and BOC.
