ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plan of China and North Korea to build hydraulic power dams on Yalu River. North Korea and China have agreed to build two power plants on a river that flows along the border between the two countries. Once completed, the two dams would generate 84,000 kilowatts of electricity, to be shared by the two neighbors but which is especially needed by North Korea. The Yunfeng Reservoir, called Wungong Dam in North Korea, is 11 kilometers from the Limto Dam site.
