ABSTRACT
The article reports that RCN Corp. is one of the operators that is going to introduce digital simulcast. Digital simulcast replicates analog channels in the digital domain. Initially, the company is simulating its expanded basic service in New York. A spokesperson of the company opined that the company is already moving ahead with simulcast in other markets. The company's Chicago market is ready to roll. Moreover, the company's Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania markets would be set for simulcast by year-end.
