The article reports on the merger of Bayou Steel Corp. and Black Diamond Capital Management LLC in LaPlace, Louisiana. Bayou Steel has manufactured merchant and structural bar products and has operated stocking locations in Pittsburgh, Chicago and Tulsa, Oklahoma. While, Black Diamond has an asset of $8 billion and founded in 1995 by James Zenni and Stephen Deckoff.
