ABSTRACT
The article reports that cinema chains in Spain have prohibited the showing of the film "Scary Movie 4" in protest of the rental terms demanded by the film's distributor Buena Vista International Inc. These motion picture theaters, including Abaco-Cinebox and Yelmo Cineplex, represent more than forty percent of commercial screens in Spain. Cinema operators have demanded that Buena Vista should drop average rentals from more than 50 to 47.5 percent of the box office.
