ABSTRACT
The article reports the plan of King County, Washington officials to issue $100 million in variable-rate demand bonds in August 2006 on behalf of the region's wastewater capital improvement program. The deal will take shape as a negotiated sale of two series, one underwritten by Goldman Sachs & Co., and the other senior managed by Citigroup Global Markets Inc. County debt analyst Nigel Lewis expects the transaction to be approved by the King County Council in the last week of June 2006.
