ABSTRACT
The article provides information regarding the UK./US Fire Service Symposium which focuses on the implications of the Gulf Coast hurricanes and the London bombings which was held on April 30 to May 3, 2006 in California. The symposium was attended by more than 30 delegates. The key speakers include assistant chief ambulance officer John Pooley, director of the National Fire Programs Division Cortez Lawrence, former fire chef assistant Jon Hanson and Peter Holland, chief fire officer.
