The reflects on the plan by Metro-Goldwyn Mayer Studios Inc., a film production company, to pick up all of the production cost of prints and advertising to financing groups in the U.S. He assessed that the company has written off over $150 million in a single year for unsuccessful projects. He believes that as the company has become bigger, overheads have continued to expand and functionaries have become more bureaucratic.
