ABSTRACT
The article focuses on a new Unilever study called Winning the Hispanic Shopping Trip, which probed the actual activities of Hispanic shoppers and reviewed more than 3,600 diaries and store receipts. The study concentrated on four of the largest Hispanic markets in the U.S., which are Houston, Los Angeles, Miami and New York. Michael Polk, Unilever U.S. president stated that insights from the study will help retailers build strategies for reaching these increasingly important shoppers.
