ABSTRACT
This article profiles U.S. Senator and possible presidential candidate John Edwards. Edwards has proposed a bill in the U.S. Senate to eliminate poverty in the United States by raising minimum wage, creating housing vouchers, and reviving urban areas. Edwards's popularity in anticipation of the 2008 U.S. presidential election is also discussed, as Edwards is leading Democratic Party public opinion polls.
