ABSTRACT
The article focuses on how British workers has risen to meet the challenges faced by Great Britain. The workers have been eager to play their full part in war production. Most of the employees in several textile mills in a town in Lancashire have been working seven days a week. Skilled workmen a factory have stayed at their benches for thirty six hours straight to complete an elaborate mechanism needed for a large naval gun.
