ABSTRACT
The article discusses the popularity of fairy-inspired merchandise in the U.S. Tinkerbell is one of Disney Consumer Products' popular characters, despite the fact that she has no entertainment exposure for the last 15 years. The Disney Fairies brand offers books, clothes and toys. Meanwhile, Creative Properties Group Inc. will represent Cicely Mary Barker's "Flower Fairies" books. Mattel Inc. aims to further expand its Winx Club dolls.
