ABSTRACT
The article discusses factors for running a successful merchandise licensing campaign in Israel. According to Shira Eldar, licensing manager and director of LDI, there are five key elements to successful licensing in Israel. These elements include pricing, visibility, localization of product, promotion and endorsement of a major celebrity. The Israeli retail market is worth around $12 billion per year.
