ABSTRACT
The article reports on the licensing alliance between Universal Studios Inc. and toymaker Mattel Inc. The agreement gives Universal Studios global marketing and distribution rights to all of Mattel's DVDs. The alliance's first global, joint releases will be "Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses" and "PollyWord" in fall 2006.
