ABSTRACT
The article reports that Des McAnuff will step down as artistic director of La Jolla Playhouse in San Diego, California. McAnuff was the director of "Jersey Boys," which received four 2006 Tony awards. He will continue his association with the theater company as director emeritus. He first led La Jolla as artistic director between 1983 and 1994.
