ABSTRACT
This article focuses on the aspects of Turkish cuisine. According to Ann Wilder, founder of the Baltimore, Maryland-based Vanns Spices, this kind of cuisine is characterized by savory-sweet flavors pumped up with a little heat. Turkish ingredients and seasonings include aleppo pepper, marash pepper and sumac berries.
