This article provides information on the Perfect My Prom Breakfast Contest which aims to entice students to start the day with a nutritious breakfast and thus effect an increase in reimbursable meal participation. The real generator of student enthusiasm stemmed from the urban marketing of James Neal, marketing manager for the Chartwells/Thompson Hospitality team running food service in the Chicago Public Schools system, owing to its partnership with Power 92, a popular local radio station.
