ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board has filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) revision to the Series 53 examination that market participants must take to qualify as municipal securities principals or supervisors in the U.S. The revisions would take effect on August 1, 2006 if the SEC approves them. There are new areas added to the test and a related study outline.
