ABSTRACT
The article presents news briefs on chemical projects. Liaoyang Petrochemical, a subsidiary of China's Petro-China, is studying a 160,00 tonne/year adipic acid plant, which will more than double its production to 300,00 tonne/ year in Liaoning Province, China. Sinopec has selected Ineos Technologies as the licensor for its high-density polyethylene project at Tianjin Province, China. Saudi International Petrochemical has now secured a gas supply for its 1.2 metric tonne/year cracker project.
