ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the value of paraxylene in the global market. Global paraxylene values are rising, with record highs of $1130-1150/tonne CFR Taiwan in Asia's spot market, and steadily increasing European spot numbers also breaking records at $1080-1150/tonne fob NWE. Following Asian contract nominations for June, European consumers are facing steep increases next month. European producers say that Asia's nominations fall short of a number which could cover feedstock increases.

The impact of cold temperatures on natural attenuation rates is poorly understood and compounded by the lack of published data, particularly under field conditions. This paper presents a collection of data from monitoring and remediation projects completed at cold temperatures. The data set was...

A recently developed Pd-based electro-Fenton (E-Fenton) process enables efficient in situ remediation of organic contaminants in groundwater. In the process, H2O2, Fe(II), and acidic conditions (~pH 3) are produced in situ to facilitate the decontamination, but the role of ubiquitous natural...
