Resins output falls in US

The article reports on the decline in the production of major plastic resins in the U.S. in March 2006. Production of major plastic resins totaled 3.22 million tonne in March 2006, a decrease of 0.7% compared with the same month in 2005, according to statistics from the plastics division of the American Chemistry Council. In the first three months of 2006, production was 9.40 million tonne, a 1% decrease on the same period in 2005.
